Poptone, the group featuring Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins of Tones on Tails, Love & Rockets and Bauhaus along with Diva Dompe, will release their self-titled debut LP on June 8 via Cleopatra.

Plus: Yo La Tengo, Bonny Doon, ‘Dark Side of the Mule’ and more recently announced tours.

Dressed in white with splashes of paint that glowed bright in the black lights and strobes, POPTONE’s show felt shockingly modern at Irving Plaza on Saturday night (8/5)….

The lineup for the goth/industrial-leaning fest includes includes The Jesus and Mary Chain, KMFDM, Poptone (Daniel Ash & Kevin Haskins of Love & Rockets/Bauhaus/Tones on Tail), She Wants Revenge, TR/ST, The Gaslamp Killer, Moon Duo, The Soft Moon, and Mykki Blanco.
