Preoccupations robbed twice in one week, set up GoFundMe to keep touring

Canadian band Preoccupations have had a seriously bad week, having been robbed twice…yikes! First in Vancouver and then in San Francisco, waking up Tuesday (5/15) ”to find our beloved old van, our trailer, and all of our gear and merch stolen.”

Preoccupations (fka Viet Cong) have shared “Antidote,” the second single from their forthcoming album New Material. Led by a throbbing, stabbing bassline and industrial-strength drums, it’s more of a pop song than you might first think, though the song takes a left turn down a long dark hallway halfway through.
