Prophets of Rage, the new supergroup with 3/4 of Rage Against the Machine (everyone except Zack de la Rocha), Chuck D of Public Enemy and B-Real of Cypress Hill, were supposed to make their NYC debut at a surprise Governors Ball appearance yesterday (6/5), until the festival’s third and would-be final day was cancelled. They still managed to play NYC though, squeezing in a small Brooklyn show at Warsaw…

With GovBall cancelled today, this supergroup of most of Rage Against the Machine, Chuck D & B Real will play this small Brooklyn show instead.

Governors Ball is underway (check out pics of day 1), and it was just revealed that the special guest on Sunday (6/5) will be Prophets of Rage, the new supergroup with 3/4 of Rage Against the Machine (everyone except Zack de la Rocha), Chuck D of Public Enemy and B-Real of Cypress Hill.

It was recently reported that 3/4 of Rage Against the Machine (everyone except Zack de la Rocha), Chuck D of Public Enemy and B-Real of Cypress Hill formed a supergroup called Prophets of Rage. The members have now confirmed the existence of the group, and announced that their first show will be at LA’s Whisky A Go-Go tonight…
