John Prine closed out the 2017 edition of Newport Folk Festival with a guest filled set, including appearances from Roger Waters, Justin Vernon, Jim James, Lucius, Margo Price, and Nathaniel Rateliff.

Kopel (R-Lawrence) added that allowing Waters to perform “offends the sense of decency held by our residents.”
