The brainchild of Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National, day two of the festival, like day one, found Justin and Aaron (Bryce couldn’t be there because of scheduling issues) performing with other acts, particularly for Big Red Machine’s set, which ended up as a big family affair.

Justin Vernon had a hand in many of the sets on collaborative festival 37d03d’s first night in Brooklyn; he covered Bob Dylan, sat in with Boys Noize, joined Anais Mitchell and others in Bonny Light Horseman, and more.

’Work’ is Holy Ghost!’s first album in six years and features Sinkane, Juan Maclean, Nancy Whang, and more. They’re touring, too.

The two-day collaborative festival happens in May and includes Dessner, Justin Vernon, Big Red Machine, This is the Kit, Boys Noize, and more.

Sinkane says the new album ”is the story of an immigrant’s journey of self-discovery in the Trump era. The music is loud and raw, and it’s bursting with an energy unlike anything I’ve ever done before.”

Tonight’s NYC-area shows include Big Boi, Regina Spektor, Sinkane, Seu Jorge, Latterman, Thunder Dreamer/Wild Pink, Nyck Caution, Sun Ra Arkestra, Michelle Wolf, SAVAK, and more.
