“The US Pleasure tour is over, but vibes continue in NYC: tomorrow night I’m doing a very special little pop-up ACOUSTIC PLEASURE solo gig in my neighborhood to celebrate,” says Sondre.

For the third edition of ‘Dive Bar Wisdom’ we caught up with Sondre Lerche to talk about his grandma and some of his favorite places to go in NYC…

He doesn’t always tour with a backing band, but this time he is, allowing Sondre to show off his more rocking side.

“The original was recorded live in the studio, so the tempo shifts and the sound leaks all over the place,” Sondre tells us. “So I imagine it was no joke making this remix work so well.”

Sondre Lerche was in NYC earlier this year trying out new material, and he’s since come back with a new single, “I’m Always Watching You” which is a very poppy look at “voyeurism or masochism,” complete with a slightly creepy video…

The schedule includes a Prefab Sprout tribute with Sondre Lerche, Jen Goma (A Sunny Day In Glasgow), Skylar Spence and more; a Small Faces tribute with Richie Birkenhead (Underdog/Into Another), Paul Bearer (Sheer Terror); Marty Wilson-Piper (ex-The Church) and more; plus others.

Sondre Lerche is playing The Heath at McKittrick Hotel in May. It’s just him, solo acoustic, in a very intimate setting.
