Sorority Noise's Cam Boucher gives new statement on rape allegation

”We felt this note, which has been approved both by myself and the other person involved, was a step in the right direction. Although we are each valid in our own experiences, we agree that anything that did occur between us was not purposeful or malicious,” Cam Boucher says in the statement.

The cancellation follows the accusation of sexual assault against Old Gray’s Cameron Boucher that also prompted his band Sorority Noise to cancel a tour earlier this year.

”We are looking after Cam and taking him to receive treatments to ensure his health at this time. It is difficult for us to say more at this moment as the rest of us are doing our best to handle the situation immediately in front of us… We are sorry to let any of you down and extend our deepest regrets to those affected,” the band writes.

The allegation was posted by former The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die member Nicole Schoenholz. Cam wrote, ”I would like to firmly state that her accusations are false.”
