Toronto noise punks METZ return with their third album, Strange Peace, on September 22. In an it-was-bound-to-happen moment, they made the record with Steve Albini in Chicago, live to tape.

New single “In Your Palace” is from a still-to-come album, details TBA, but this is nice and raw as you’d expect from an Albini recording, and has The Cribs signature big choruses and “whoa-ohs” as well.

Albini, who recorded ’24 Hour Revenge Therapy,’ admits in the clip that he mistook Jawbreaker for Jawbox.
