The Bitter End

Bowery Ballroom, United Palace, Town Hall, Baby’s All Right, Elsewhere, City Winery, Le Poisson Rouge, Saint Vitus, Joe’s Pub and Union Pool are just a few of the NYC venues part of NYIVA which seeks aid for independent venues that have been closed during COVID-19.

Eric Andersen hailed from the same Greenwich Village folk scene as Bob Dylan (who has covered his music and toured with him), went on the Festival Express Tour with the Grateful Dead (who have collaborated with him), and he’s now releasing a career-spanning compilation that features collaborations with Joni Mitchell, Lou Reed, Joan Baez, Phil Ochs, and more.

The West Village club was not in fact “closed for renovations”.
