Titus Andronicus just wrapped an acoustic tour that concluded with a Brooklyn show at Murmrr Theatre. The’ve got a couple more appearances in NYC still to come, though this month.

This week’s Notable Releases include Kacey Musgraves’ ”trippy” new album, Amen Dunes’ biggest-sounding LP yet, The Shacks’ dreamy debut, and more.

The whole album is a very nice-sounding dose of cool, smoky dream pop with a hint of British Invasion influence.

Tonight’s NYC shows include The Zombies, Lou Reed’s Birthday Celebration, John Nolan, Tommy Stinson, The Spook School, and more.

The 2018 edition of SXSW will be here before we know it (March 9-18 in Austin, TX) and they’ve just announced a whole bunch more artists, including Hinds, Girl Ray, La Luz, A Place to Bury Strangers, Common Holly, Corridor, Flasher, Lali Puna, Lomelda, Low, Max Richter, Ought, The Shacks, Sloppy Jane, Smokepurpp, Spinning Coin, U.S. Girls, Wyclef Jean, and tons more.
