Murphy’s Law have been raising money for frontman Jimmy Gestapo’s medical bills, and now there’s also a benefit show happening in Tompkins Square Park ””in the spirit of the Dr. Know benefit and the Raybeez tribute show.”

It’s the last day for both Silent Barn and B.B. King Blues Club, plus the WFMU Record Fair, Calexico, Brian Fallon, Matt & Kim, Eartheater, Helado Negro, Moneybagg Yo, and more.

Hundreds of costumed dogs and their owners, as well as curious onlookers, spilled out of the multi-use courts and lined the fences surrounding them. Prizes were awarded for the best costumes, but to me, all the dogs in attendance were winners.
