The Upstate NY festival, which continues to move away from its jam roots, also includes George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, The Felice Brothers, Everything Everything, Woods, and more.

Jam vets The String Cheese Incident are playing for the eighth year in a row, and Bassnectar — who headlined both weekends last year — is back too. The lineup also includes Cut Copy, !!!, Chromeo, Bonobo, Washed Out, Floating Points, Hiss Golden Messenger, Noname, Sinkane, and more.

Arcade Fire, The Flaming Lips, Tycho, Sylvan Esso, Denzel Curry, Leon Bridges, Bassnectar, Travis Scott and more are playing Florida’s third annual Okeechobee festival.

Former DFA artist and Yeasayer/Caribou member Sinkane has been crossing over into the jam world more than ever lately. His great new album Life & Livin’ It pulls from ’70s funk and ’70s rock in a way that’s more jam than indie, and his ace live band is the kind of band you expect to see at a jam festival…

The 2017 edition of Bonnaroo gets underway Thursday in Manchester, TN and if you aren’t going to be there you can still watch many of the performances via the festival’s livestream…

U2 headline Friday, RHCP headline Saturday, and The Weeknd headlines Sunday.
