Record Store Day 2021 happens across two “Drops“ in June and July, and this year includes exclusive titles from The Ramones, The Clash, John Prine, MF DOOM’s first group KMD, Wipers, The Cure, Steely Dan, Beastie Boys, The Replacements, and much more.

Beyond the Pale, Jarvis Cocker’s first proper album in 11 years, is out this week via Rough Trade.

’Beastie Boys Book’ is not your typical memoir, and includes includes a cookbook by chef Roy Choi, a graphic novel, a map of Beastie Boys’ New York, mixtape playlists, rare photos, original illustrations, and pieces by guest contributors like Amy Poehler, Colson Whitehead, Spike Jonze, Wes Anderson, and Luc Sante.

Mike D says that book ”isn’t exactly a memoir,” and it reportedly will include a cookbook section.

Wes Anderson’s second animated feature is an ode to Japanese cinema and Akira Kurosawa; the soundtrack works in some of the themes from Kurosawa’s classic films in addition to Desplat’s score.

Yoko Ono is among the new animated film’s voice cast, along with Wes Anderson regulars like Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Jeff Goldblum and Edward Norton. It’s out March, 2018.
