Arcade Fire’s Win Butler and Regine Chassagne have collaborated with New Orleans’ Preservation Hall Horns and Haitian group RAM on a new song titled “Ann Ale! (Let’s Go!).” The song is in celebration of Krewe Du Kanaval, a Mardi Gras Krewe formed by Win, Regine and the Preservation Hall…

Win tweeted, “Trump’s comments about Haiti reflect nothing on the amazing country, and only on his own racism and xenophobia.” Chuck D, El-P and others have also responded.

Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler was interviewed for George Stroumboulopoulos’s The Strombo Show, where they discussed a lot of different stuff in the nearly-40-minute interview.

Arcade Fire’s tour starts this week and hits NYC’s Madison Square Garden on September 12 with Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Grandmaster Flash. A couple days before that, the band’s Win Butler and Régine Chassagne will play a “cocktail soiree” benefit for Haiti at The Club Room, Soho Grand Hotel on September 10

“First thing I do is I take all my clothes off and throw up all over the place,” Win says.
