Taking Back Sunday announce tour, including Webster Hall & Long Island fest

Taking Back Sunday will hit the road this year in continued support of last year’s heartland rock-inspired Tidal Wave. Like on the first tour for that album, they’ll be playing some smaller venues. Most dates have Every Time I Die providing direct support.

The tour begins in NYC at Webster Hall on July 14 with additional support from Modern Chemistry. Regular tickets for that show go on sale Friday (3/24) at 10 AM and VIP tickets go on sale today (3/21) at 5 PM. The VIP ticket includes early access to the venue and an acoustic set.

The Long Island band also play Long Island festival Great South Bay Music Fest right before the Webster Hall show. They play day one (7/13) with Saves the Day, New Found Glory, Frank Iero & the Patience, and more TBA. Tickets for that are on sale now.

Other fests that TBS hit this year include When We Were Young (with Morrissey, Descendents, and more) and Rock on the Range (with Metallica, Soundgarden, and more).

TBS guitarist/vocalist John Nolan has an ACLU benefit compilation on the way featuring TBS, Walter Schreifels, Brendan Kelly, Frank iero, and more.
