Taking Back Sunday & Early November touring with Dashboard Confessional

Rockstar Energy Drink’s Taste of Chaos tour is back this year, and it’s uh, kind of cool. (It’s also convinced that no time has passed since 2003.) Dashboard Confessional are headlining, but most excitingly Taking Back Sunday and The Early November are on all dates, and the NJ show also includes Saves the Day and the Jones Beach show also includes Motion City Soundtrack. Most dates also include Saosin with Anthony Green, for anyone who goes full Hot Topic.

That NJ show happens June 17 at PNC Bank Arts Center and the Jones Beach (6/18) show is the next night. Jones Beach will be one of the last times you can see Motion City Soundtrack (at least for a while), who are going on hiatus soon. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday (3/18) at 10 AM local time. All dates are listed below.

UPDATE: Motion City Soundtrack announced their full farewell tour, which includes a headlining NYC show on June 16 at Irving Plaza. Support comes from Have Mercy and Light Years. Tickets go on sale Friday (3/18) at 10 AM with VIP presales starting Tuesday (3/15) at 10 AM and Live Nation/Music Geeks presales starting Thursday (3/17) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.

Dashboard’s Chris Carrabba and Saves the Day’s Chris Conley are also soon teaming up for an emo supergroup with Mike Kinsella (American Football, Cap’n Jazz, Owen, etc) and The Get Up Kids’ Jim Suptic. That band will open The Promise Ring’s first NYC show in four years.
