Tame Impala played Music Hall of Williamsburg last night (11/9), a sold-out show as part of their tour with The Amazing (who played Mercury Lounge last week). The pair will do it again on Saturday night (11/10) at Webster Hall which is also sold out. Did you go to the show? How was it?
In other Tame Impala news, the band just released a video for new single “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards” from their album Lonerism. Directors Joe Pelling and Becky Sloan’s head trip (literally) vision for the clip is old-school hand animated, looking like something from vintage ’70s Sesame Street. Still it’s hard for this to beat PS22 Chorus’ take on the same song. Videos of both are below.
