Team Dresch announce West Coast tour dates, reissuing entire catalog

Queercore icons Team Dresch broke up in 1998, but re-formed in 2004 for a performance at Homo A Go Go in Olympia, WA, and continued to play sporadic shows in the years that followed. The band recently announced a 25th anniversary reissue of their entire catalog – Personal Best, Captain My Captain, and a compilation of singles – via Jealous Butcher Records, due out in May, and with that announcement promised new tour dates as well. Now they’ve announced a round of live shows, happening in June on the West Coast. Tickets to the five-date tour go on sale Friday 4/5 at noon Pacific time. All dates are listed below.

“Team Dresch consider each show a family reunion,” they write, “a place to celebrate queerness and love of all misfits and activists and literally anyone who shows up to feel TD’s captivating sonic explosion vibrate through their bodies. Dance-sing-stage-dive-crowd-surf-be-held-up-by-each-other, mosh on children of metal! Also Donna’s hair.”
