Ted Leo & The PharmacistsHearts of Oak 15th anniversary tour hit Brooklyn this week for two shows at Music Hall of Williamsburg. On Tuesday (6/12) they played Hearts of Oak in full, plus a lengthy encore of songs from other albums (and a cover of Adam & The Ants’ “Dog Eat Dog”); on Wednesday (6/13) they played a career-spanning set (but not HoO in full). Both nights were opened by Ted’s good friend Jean Grae, who joined him for “Can’t Go Back.” Check out Tuesday’s setlist, and some fan shot videos from the MHOW shows, below.

They’ve got a few more cities left in their Hearts of Oak tour (where they play two nights each in the same way as MHOW), and have added a few shows in August, including a new NYC show: a Rocks Off Concert Cruise on August 17 aboard The Liberty Belle. (It’s not a Hearts of Oak show if you were wondering.) Boarding begins at 6 PM at Pier 36 (299 South St) and the ship sets sail at 7 PM. Frankie Rose opens the show. Tickets for that show are on BrooklynVegan presale now — use password NJVEGAN. If you miss out on our presale, tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 15 at noon.

Ted Leo & the Pharmcists and Frankie Rose are also playing Asbury Lanes on August 18 (tickets). Updated dates are listed below.
