Tee Grizzley preps 'ACTIVATED,' drops "Don't Even Trip," playing SXSW
Rising Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley, who we called one of the best new(ish) artists of 2017, is planning to release his new project ACTIVATED soon, and while most details on that are still TBA, today he dropped a new single, “Don’t Even Trip” featuring Moneybagg Yo. Over a trap-ish beat from Chopsquad DJ, Grizzley goes all in and proves that his rhymes are getting more intricate and his delivery is getting more confident. It’s safe to call this one a banger — stream it below.
Grizzley is on tour now with Jeezy (whose 2017 album he featured on), and the tour is about to hit a few Texas dates next week. Right before those shows, Tee Grizzley will stop in Austin for SXSW, where he’ll play the unofficial WordstarHipHop and Opposition showcase at Summit Rooftop Lounge on Friday night (3/16). That showcase also includes Rich the Kid, YBN Nahmir, YFN Lucci, and more. Tickets are on sale (entry is by paid ticket only).
