While the rest of the crowd felt content cheering for Angela McCluskey from the floor, Michael Stipe decided he’d do it from the stage after she finished singing “Breathe” with Telepopmusik at Don Hill’s in NYC last night (June 12, 2006). Not sure why my camera decided to stop working right at that moment either (hence just this one mediocre piece of documentation). Alan Cumming stayed right in the crowd with the rest of us.
