Television & Eleanor Friedberger celebrated New Years @ Bowery Ballroom (setlists, night 1 pics)
New York rock icons Television closed out 2017 (which was the 40th anniversary of their debut LP Marquee Moon) with two New Years shows at Bowery Ballroom. For the second, which was New Year’s Eve, they brought out Eleanor Friedberger (who opened both nights) for a rendition of “Auld Lang Syne.” Both shows featured pretty similar setlists and you can check those out, along with a video from each night, below. Pictures from night 1 are in the gallery above.
Eleanor, meanwhile, included a number of new songs in her opening sets. She’s overdue for a new album. Stay tuned.
