Television @ Rough Trade -- pics from one of the first and last shows at the new NYC venue

New York punk legends Television celebrated the opening of Brooklyn’s new music venue/record store Rough Trade NYC with a two-night stand during the venue’s opening weekend of November 29 and 30. Back in November, we posted pictures of night 1, and we’ve now got a belated set of pictures from night 2 in this post.

Not long after this opening celebration show, the venue sadly had to shut down the show room and cancel December shows due to sound/noise issues. That trend is continuing as they just announced that most January shows have moved to other venues too. Hopefully they get done what they need to do soon. February shows like The Orwells are still scheduled for now. Meanwhile you can still stop by and browse their stock of records and books for sale.

Who knows what the venue will look like when they’re finished fixing it so it can reopen, but more pictures of what it looked like on its first weekend can be viewed below…
