Tenacious D celebrated 'Post-Apocalypto' @ Kings Theatre (night 1 pics)

Tenacious D celebrated the release of their rock opera album Post-Apocalypto and accompanying animated web series with two nights at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre, which were also the kickoff to their fall tour. The first part of the show was dedicated to Post-Apocalypto, with Jack Black and Kyle Gass playing behind a screen on which the series was projected. Then the screen dropped and the D delivered a set of hits — including “Tribute,” “Dio,” “Kickapoo” and more — that had the crowd going nuts.
