Testament releasing 'Brotherhood of the Snake' (stream the title track)
Thrash legends Testament are still with 3/5 of their classic lineup and they’re still a total force live. (They were seriously one of the best bands at last year’s Riot Fest Denver.) They’re now set to release a new album, the followup to 2012’s Dark Roots of Earth, and it’s due out on October 28 via Nuclear Blast. The album’s called Brotherhood of the Snake and the title track is out now. It’s a total ripper with plenty of the band’s thrash roots, but also with harsher screams that keep it sounding very modern. As far as new music from veteran thrash bands go, I’d say this is better than that new Metallica song. Check it out:
