Post-hardcore vets Texas Is the Reason wrapped up their reunion back in 2013, but earlier this year they were announced for the Jon Bunch tribute happening in Santa Ana, CA on March 20. “Whether or not we are technically “broken up” is besides the point. When you are asked to celebrate the life of a beautiful person that you loved dearly, you just say yes. We said yes,” they said. (You may know that Norman Brannon from TITR wrote a long blog post on bands breaking up and reuniting around the time LCD Soundsystem reunited.)

Now, TITR have announced a warm-up show for the Jon Bunch tribute happening in their hometown of NYC on March 15 at Saint Vitus. It’s doubling as a 20th anniversary show for their classic (and only) full length album, Do You Know Who You Are?. Tickets go on sale Friday (3/11) at noon.

Earlier this year, TITR frontman Garrett Klahn released a solo album. Stream Do You Know Who You Are? below.
