Teyana Taylor & more playing Essence Street Style Fest in Brooklyn
New Orleans’ Essence Festival launched the Essence Street Style Festival in 2014, and it comes to Brooklyn during New York Fashion Week 2018 on September 9 at Duggal Greenhouse (63 Flushing Ave) with live music by Teyana Taylor and Yemi Alade, as well as DJ sets from Olivia Dope and Jasmine Solano.
Comedian/musician Amanda Seales (of Insecure and more) is your host, and there will be an awards ceremony honoring R&B great Kelis and fashion influencer Kellie Brown. Tickets are on sale, and more info is here.
