The Besnard Lakes releasing new album this spring, touring (dates, stream)

Montreal’s The Besnard Lakes return with their new album Until in Excess, Imperceptible UFO on April 2 via Jagjaguwar. The album, the band’s fourth, was produced by main members Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas in their Breakglass studios. You can check out the first released track from the album, “People of the Sticks,” below and it’s a good reminder that few do this sort of widescreen guitar rock better than The Besnard Lakes.

The band will be hitting the road this spring as well for a North American tour, including a show in New York at Bowery Ballroom on May 3. Tickets go on AmEx presale today (1/30) at noon with the regular on-sale happening on Friday (2/1) at noon. All tour dates are listed below.
