The Bird and the Bee touring this summer, including LA with Dave Grohl

Inara George and Greg Kurstin’s group The Bird and the Bee covered Van Halen’s “Panama” earlier this year, reissued their early albums on vinyl for Record Store Day, and they’ll be on tour this summer. They’re playing a special Los Angeles show at Ford Theatre on August 2 with Dave Grohl behind the drumkit and Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Nine Inch Nails, Beck) on bass. Later in August they’ll hit the East Coast and work their way back west, stopping in Providence, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Birmingham, Dallas, and San Diego, with more dates still to be announced.

The Brooklyn show happens August 17 at Elsewhere Hall and tickets for that show go on sale Friday, June 7 at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
