The Black Angels toured through town with Suuns over the weekend, hitting Bowery Ballroom Friday, and Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday (4/9)…

“The show on Saturday was their fifth area show in support of Phosphene Dream. For me, it doesn’t get old. I get pumped up by listening to the albums all day. Even though I can anticipate the ebb and flow of the songs, it still seems like I’m experiencing it for the first time. The way they blend a song into Black Grease, the prolonged jams of Bad Vibrations, the spaces and fortitude of both versions of The Sniper — that’s some serious shit there. I’m so stupid during parts of the show that I mouth the guitar parts — the “bwoowww, beeeouh, beeeouh.”” [Music Snobbery]
