The Blood Brothers @ Spirit, NYC | Pics

“There aren’t many bands doing what the Blood Brothers are doing right now. In fact, maybe none. The Seattle group have found a way to fuse indie and metal so seamlessly, it’s hard to tell which you’re listening to.

Their latest record, Crimes, was released last fall on V2, giving the Brothers a huge promotional boost following their indie hit, “Burn, Piano Island, Burn.” The album is a full-on assault, from the “Nightclubbing”-like swagger of the title track to the death metal disco of “Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck.”” – Chart Attack
