The Breeders share new song "Nervous Mary"; new album out next week

Indie rock vets The Breeders‘ first album in a decade (and first with the Last Splash lineup since Last Splash), All Nerve, comes out next week (3/2) via 4AD, and today they released another new song from it, “Nervous Mary.” It sounds like classic Breeders and it’s keeping the hopes high for this album. Listen below.

The album was recorded with Steve Albini, Tom Tastikis, Greg Norman and Mike Montgomery behind the boards, and Courtney Barnett and her band guest on “Howl at the Summit.” Kim and Kelley Deal are also featured on the upcoming Courtney Barnett album.

The Breeders’ tour includes NYC-area shows at Brooklyn Steel on 4/30 with Flasher (sold out), Terminal 5 on 5/1 (tickets), and the Capitol Theatre on 5/2 (tickets). All dates are listed below.

There’s also a just-announced free listening party for the new album happening at Rough Trade NYC on Wednesday (2/28). 7 PM start. More info here.
