Les Claypool of Primus and Sean Lennon of Ghost of a Saber-Tooth Tiger recently formed the collaborative project The Claypool Lennon Delirium and released their debut album Monolith of Phobos earlier this month.
In support of that, the band has been touring and they performed at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on Saturday (6/18). While they primarily focused on songs from their new album, they also did a few by Les and Sean’s other projects, covered Pink Floyd’s “Astronomy Domine,” and covered “Tomorrow Never Knows” by Sean’s dad’s band. Dean Ween, whose Dean Ween Group opened the show, joined for the encore to play a Primus song. The setlist is below.
The Claypool Lennon Delirium will perform live on The Late Late Show with James Corden on June 22, and then they’ll be back in the area for a NYC show on August 30 at Irving Plaza with Jjuujjuu. Tickets for that show are still available.
