The Coathangers share "Squeeki Tiki" from new LP
Atlanta garage punks The Coathangers are releasing their new album Nosebleed Weekend on April 15 via Suicide Squeeze. Today they released a new single called “Squeeki Tiki.” It’s an upbeat breakup song where co-frontwoman Julia Kugel sings “I’m alone again and I like it” with the company of an unlikely instrument: a dog chew toy. The Coathangers are kicking off their tour in support of the new LP with two NYC shows this week at Baby’s All Right on Tuesday, March 29 (sold out) and Silent Barn on Thursday, March 31 with Pill and The Meltaways (tickets).
