The Decemberists share "Make You Better" video starring Nick Offerman (watch)

You may have already heard The Decemberists‘ new single, “Make You Better” from their new album, What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World, but you can now check out the video. It stars their old Parks & Rec buddy Nick Offerman as host of a ’70s German TV show called The Old Blue Rock Palace Show which is clearly a blend of The Old Grey Whistle Test and Rockpalast. After a brief and awkward interview with Colin Meloy, The Decemberists take the stage as a romantic drama featuring Offerman plays out behind the scenes. Funny and a little sweet, it was directed by Bill Fishman, who some of you may remember as making the 1988 cult classic Tapeheads. Watch it below.

The Decemberists’ tour with Alvvays hits NYC on April 6 at Beacon Theatre. Tickets are still available but “not many left” according to Ticketmaster.
