The Decemberists @ the Cap – 9/24/15
The Decemberists are currently hanging around NYC on their ongoing tour with Lucius, having hit Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre last night (9/24). The tour is in support of this year’s What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World and the upcoming Florasongs EP, and they did give us some of that, but mostly it was a pretty good split of all their stuff. They did a medley off the proggy Hazards of Love, gave us old favorites like “July, July!” and “The Chimbley Sweep,” mid-career highlights like “O Valencia!” and more.
The tour has The Decemberists and Lucius in NYC proper tonight (9/25) at Radio City. There are still some tickets available.
