The Deli's real (CMJ) Music Marathon
“OPEN CALL TO NEW YORK CITY BANDS:
Marie Helene, one of our dedicated Staff Writers, will run a real Music Marathon during the NYC CMJ event. As a Marathon is 26.2 miles long, she will attend – from Wednesday to Saturday – 26 live shows of NYC bands, by sprinting to and from every venue!
More importantly, YOU CAN INFLUENCE HER SHOW HOPPING ROUTE and convince her to check out your band! How can you do that? Just email her at [email protected] including links to your website/MP3s/bio information.
Marie will keep us informed on a daily basis about her plans and actual final route on the Deli blog. Next week she will compile a list of the 10 bands she was most impressed with.
This might become a shortcut for you to an interview on the Deli Magazine or maybe even – who knows? – its next cover!
