Dwarves

Long-running San Francisco-via-Chicago punks The Dwarves are still at it and (like many punk bands) not deviating much at all from their classic material (like 1990’s Blood Guts & Pussy). In their case that’s not a bad thing at all. Their latest, 2014’s The Dwarves Invented Rock & Roll (Recess Records) and this year’s accompanying Gentleman Blag EP (Fat Wreck Chords), have them sounding as energized as ever. If you haven’t heard Invented Rock & Roll yet, stream it in full along with its NSFW artwork, below.

The Dwarves will be hitting the road with Asian Man-signed punk ‘n’ rollers The Atom Age soon, and stopping in NYC on March 13 at The Bowery Electric. That show will be opened by Threats, and tickets are on sale now.
