Entrance Band

Los Angeles psych rockers The Entrance Band are currently in NYC, having played Webster Hall last night (12/11) opening up for Mikal Cronin. If you missed them last night, or want to see them again, they’re playing tonight (12/12) at Baby’s All Right with The Golden Grass. It’s a free show, with doors at 8 PM and the show starting at 9 PM. If you haven’t heard them at all, their new album, Face the Sun, is a paisley-printed mind-melter and you can stream the whole thing, and check out the video for “Spider,” below.

This might be your last chance to see The Entrance Band for a while as bassist Paz Lenchantin has been drafted by Pixies to replace Kim Shattuck for their continuing tour. Just remember, Paz: no stage diving.
