The Fest

Gainesville punk mecca The Fest recently announced its initial 2016 lineup and now more bands have been added. Excitingly, the lineup now includes a reunion from pop punk greats The Ergs! and the also-great Dillinger Four, whose shows are few and far between these days. Other additions include the recently-reunited Digger, Boysetsfire, F.Y.P. (final show), Torche, Floor, Tenement, Lemuria, Mean Jeans, Somos, Vacation, Iron Chic, Slingshot Dakota, PUP, RVIVR, Timeshares, Frameworks, Bob Nanna’s band Lifted Bells, Antarctigo Vespucci, Ian Graham (Cheap Girls), Katie Ellen (ex-Chumped), Roger Harvey, Museum Mouth, Hiccup, Amanda X, Die Choking, Sonic Avenues, Mac Sabbath, Creepoid, Sports, and more.

Other reunions on the lineup besides The Ergs! include Against All Authority, Gunmoll, Pink Razors, Twelve Hour Turn and Tired From Now On.

The additions join Planes Mistaken For Stars, Propagandhi, Small Brown Bike, Samiam, Dead To Me, Strike Anywhere, Knapsack, Tim Barry, Braid, Latterman, The Menzingers, United Nations, Toys That Kill and more. Tickets for The Fest go on sale May 20 at 4:20 EST. Updated lineup below.

In related news, Mikey Erg announced his debut solo album, Tentative Decisions, which comes out June 24 via Don Giovanni (pre-order). It was produced by fellow Fest-er Jeff Rosenstock, and the first single is “Comme Si About Me.” Listen:
