The Flaming Lips played Terminal 5 (pics, setlist)

The Flaming Lips are on tour now in support of this year’s typically weird and psychedelic Oczy Mlody. That tour hit NYC last night (3/9) at Terminal 5 with experimental rap group clipping. opening. The Lips played a few songs off the new album, and also treated the crowd to classics like “Race for the Prize,” “Feeling Yourself Disintegrate” and “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt. 1,” and a cover of the late David Bowie’s “Space Oddity.” Full setlist below. Pictures are in the gallery above (though we missed clipping.).

clipping., whose Daveed Diggs is also in Hamilton, are on several of The Lips’ dates, including the Long Island show they’re playing on Saturday (3/11) (tickets). Tonight, clipping. play their own headlining show at NYC’s Rough Trade with Jason Forrest. That’s sold out.
