The Forms playing free show at new Ridgewood venue The Footlight with live-band karaoke

As you may know, Ridgewood, Queens has a new music venue and bar called The Footlight, which officially opened earlier this summer. They recently hosted a Martin Bisi show, and there’s another cool gig coming up on August 25. It’s a free show from NYC indie rock mainstays The Forms, and they’ve got a cool surprise in store:

On Thu 8/25, The Forms will be playing a special, weird show at new Ridgewood venue The Footlight. The night starts off @8 with sets from Phone Home and The Forms, and then afterwards, current and former members of First Nature and The Forms (Keith Malone/Charles Barnett/Ed McKenna/Jackson Kenny/more?) will join forces to take requests from the audience, and then the requester can come onstage and front the band to sing the song.
