The Front Bottoms cancel shows as Brian Sella recovers from appendicitis

The Front Bottoms were scheduled to play a few shows ahead of the 2019 edition of their Champagne Jam holiday celebration, but they’ve had to cancel them as vocalist and guitarist Brian Sella recovers from appendicitis. “Hey everyone,” the band writes, “last night Brian was diagnosed with appendicitis and was rushed into emergency surgery. Luckily, the surgery went well. We’re so sorry, but unfortunately we need to cancel this weeks shows as Brian needs time to recover. We promise to reschedule soon. All refunds are available at point of purchase. He has every intention on being with you all at the Champagne Jam this year. ❤️”

The cancelled dates, which you can see below, include shows at Amityville’s Revolution, Albany’s Pearl Street Pub, and more.

This year’s Champagne Jam happens at Philadelphia’s The Fillmore Philly Complex on December 21, and includes sets from WHY?, Vundabar, The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, Mannequin Pussy, The So So Glos, Shannen Moser, Illiterate Light and more. It’s sold out, but there are some verified resale tickets available.
