The Front Bottoms announce new LP, share "Raining," touring with Basement

The Front Bottoms have just released a new single, “Raining.” Does this mean a followup to 2015’s Back On Top is on the way? We’ll have to wait for more details, but meanwhile, stream the folky, rollicking new song below.

The Front Bottoms have also been teasing a tour with their Fueled by Ramen labelmates Basement, and while all dates haven’t been announced yet, we did get wind of a big NYC show happening on November 25 at Terminal 5 with Bad Bad Hats opening. There’s also a NJ show on October 21 at Starland Ballroom with the same lineup. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday (8/25) at noon, with Spotify presales starting at 10 AM on Thursday (8/24). There’s also an AmEx presale for T5 starting today (8/23) at 4 PM.

UPDATE (10 AM): The full tour with Basement and Bad Bad Hats has been announced, and TFB revealed that their next album, Going Grey, will be out on October 13 via Fueled by Ramen. Tickets for the whole tour go on artist presale today at noon (PASSOWRD = GOINGGREY). They also released a video for “Raining” that you can watch below:
