The Good Life Album of the Year

The Good Life taking 'Album of the Year' on "Sweet 16" tour (dates)

It’s a good time for fans of the Cursive family tree. Not only are Criteria back, Tim Kasher‘s band The Good Life are celebrating the “Sweet 16” of their most-loved album, their 2004 concept LP Album of the Year, on tour this year.

The dates haven’t all been announced yet, but a Brooklyn show was announced for June 6 at Rough Trade and it’s billed as ‘The Good Life’s “Sweet 16” Album Of The Year Tour’ so presumably that means more dates are coming. Spraynard offshoot Big Nothing (who are also opening part of the Bouncing Souls/Leftover Crack tour) are opening. Tickets go on sale Friday (3/6) at noon with an AmEx presale starting today (3/4) at noon.

Stay tuned for more updates. UPDATE: Full tour announced, and some dates are with Velvet Teen offshoot The New Trust. All dates are listed, along with some tracks from Album of the Year, below…
