The Gossip's reunion tour hits NYC for Ladyland Festival (2019 lineup)
UPDATE: The Gossip have had to cancel their Saturday appearance at LadyLand: “We are so deeply sorry to have to cancel our Ladyland show. Beth has been very ill and is unable to perform while she recuperates. We were really looking forward to celebrating Stonewall’s 50th with all of you and the beautiful Ladyland crew. They have put together an incredible festival and the party will go on! Our deepest appreciation to all of our fans for your support and understanding.”
As mentioned, The Gossip announced that they’re reuniting for a European/UK tour this summer after calling it quits in 2016. They’ll be celebrating the tenth anniversary of Music for Men, and they’ve announced the first US date for that tour. The Gossip will headline Saturday at the second edition of LadyLand Festival, which happens at Brooklyn Mirage on June 28-29.
In honor of WorldPride, LadyLand has expanded to two days for its 2019 edition, and its initial lineup is out now. Along with The Gossip, it also includes producer and electronic musician Honey Dijon (who headlines Friday night), as well as Dorian Electra, Mykki Blanco, Rina Sawayama, Total Freedom, Octo Octa, and more TBA.
