The Growlers ditch Beach Goth, announce new festival in Los Angeles (lineup/tix)

After a somewhat disastrous 2016 edition of Beach Goth (and some legal disputes that followed), The Growlers have 86’d their Beach Goth festival, at least in name…and have just announced a new two-day festival, The Growlers Six, which happens the weekend before Halloween (October 28 & 29) at the LA Waterfront. As the name implies, this is the sixth festival they’re throwing and the lineup includes Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Butthole Surfers, Dan Auerback, Danny Brown, Beth Ditto, Bad Brains, Geto Boys, Guided by Voices, Hepcat, Fear, Mike Watt & The Secondmen, Nice as Fuck, Rostam, Jonathan Richman, Fear, Juvenile, and tons more. The Growlers play both nights.

Tickets go on sale Friday, August 11 at 10 AM Pacific. Full lineup is listed below.
