The Jayhawks releasing ninth LP 'Paging Mr. Proust' (listen), announce 2016 tour
Minneapolis greats The Jayhawks will release their ninth album, Paging Mr. Proust, on April 29. It was co-produced by Peter Buck and Tucker Martine, and you can stream “Ace” (kinda different for the band) and the Byrds-y “Quiet Corners & Empty Spaces” from it below.
The band will be on the road a lot this year, including two NYC shows: June 14 at Music Hall of Williamsburg and June 15 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets for both NYC shows go on sale Friday, April 15 at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday, April 13 at noon.
