The Last Shadow Puppets played NYC’s Terminal 5 on Tuesday (8/2) on their continuing tour for behind their second album, Everything You’ve Come to Expect. Having been playing mostly festivals this summer, Alex Turner and Miles Kane were clearly in showman mode, throwing shapes and delivering to the cheap seats. (They also had a string section for extra swoon.) Their set was also peppered with covers including Suicide’s “Ghost Rider,” The Fall’s “Totally Wired” and David Bowie’s “Moonage Daydream” which Turner sang from the balcony. Setlist is below and pictures from the whole night (including ones of opener Cameron Avery) are in the gallery above.
The T5 show show comes followed Last Shadow Puppets’ performance at Lollapalooza, and they’ll play Outside Lands festival in San francisco this weekend (8/5-8/7). All tour dates are listed below.
