The Legendary Pink Dots @ Knitting Factory, 9/27/2013

Edward Ka-Spel and Phil Knight have been making baroque psych — sometimes on the Syd Barrett side, sometimes heavily electronic — as The Legendary Pink Dots for over 30 years during which they’ve remained dizzlingly prolific. The Gethsemane Option is the band’s 40-somethingth album and the basis for the group’s current tour which brought them to Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory on Friday (9/27). The show was opened by Orbit Service and pictures from the whole show are in this post.
